The Chasa Diala is a 5-star holiday home. Located on the south-facing slope above Scuol, it offers a splendid panoramic view.
The traditional decoration of an Engadine home consists of motives which are etched into the façade. At its gates, the Chasa Diala greets its guests with the wheel of the sun (a male symbol) and the star of the moon (a female symbol). The house star, an eight-ray-escutcheon, is featured on the south façade as well as in both the Ena and Sirena apartments. On the north side, the house blessing reads: “Il mumaint es rai da l’eternita” (the moment is the king of eternity).
Situated at the front of the house, and available to guests, is a delightful mountain garden decorated with rocks, larch, rowan and Swiss stone pine. During the spring and summer months, the flowers are in full bloom, greeting its visitors with the fresh scent of local juniper.
